I don't think that's as good as the other one, song is better but the actuall editing is no way near as good

Really? I happen to think that The Halloween AMV is one of the best on youtube. The visuals match up to the music perfectly and manage to be encapsulating even without there being a transition every half a second.

I'll bump in if I may - the first Soul Eater AMV link by Lauf made me go and check out the show, and see if it can be find in english somewhere. The second link for the same show from Elcia almost made me regret it. I just didn't like it for some reason. *nod*

Anyway, I hope I can find it somewhere in youtube and these in english. While here, I'll ask you two anime fans - where can I find some good anime show that is in english? I just dislike listening to japanese for some reason. Is there some similar to Soul Eater anime that is voice acted in English? Something in the sorts of Shaman King, Hellsing, Devil May Cry, etc etc.

Well if I am honest then I think that original Japanese anime is better than the dubs in many occasions (soul Eater being one). The only 'two' animes that I think are equal in dub as in sub are Hellsing Ultimate and Trigun.

Just in case you have not seen either of those series here are some of my fave' amvs of the series.

Hellsing Ultimate

I can't say that these AMVs sum up Hellsing Ultimate at all. The original Hellsing series was mediocre at best whereas the Hellsing Ultimate series is one of the best Anime's out there. The art is stellar, the characters are unique, the setting is original, the fights are tense and by god if Alucard is not on a list of the biggest badasses in anime then the composer might need to check again. Ultimate is an original to video release, not because it it bad, because that way they can include all of the unrestrained horror that the Manga conveys.

Trigun

I'll admit that I have tried incredibly hard to find an AMV that does this series justice and by gods I have failed. It is a series that you can watch over and over again and each time take away something new from it. It is crazy and funny for about twelve episodes but then it rapidly descends into the shitstorm of hell. With some really badass fight scenes each of which are beautifully written and acted competently in both English and in Japanese.

Still amv, just not "anime". I find it to be pretty epic, as I have always been interested in chinese culture wee bit more than japanese due to IRL connections.

Firstly Avatar is actually an American made Animation and Anime is a style not just anything that comes out of Japan and technically Avatar fits the bill. I have always like Warriors as a song and I like a lot of the Michael Flately songs in Riverdance just not the performance itself. Celtic music ftw ^.^

The AMV is timed beautifully and makes little to no use of effects and I gotta give it credit for being good without using them. It is a solid AMV and in return I shall give you an AMV that is quite technically not an AMV and a 'true' AMV just in case you do not like the first.

Also Anime is a Japanease style, I think Avatar is very different from the style of most anime, but its basicly the same thing.

This is another Elfen Lied AMV but it makes better use of effects. I will note though that the effects are really overused in this AMV and in reality effects should 'only ever' be used when they add something to the AMV.

Fairy Tail

Watch the animation quality in the second half because Fairy tail is the best animated weekly release I have 'ever' seen. But for an Idea of just how good the action and the Animation is... there is no better AMV than this -

One Piece

This AMV is just perfect to showcase the tragedy of this anime. It is hardly mentioned but this anime is incredibly dark at times. All of the main characters have tormented and scarred backstories and throughout the adventure the protagonists meet with a massive amount of hardship for themselves and the ones they meet. But it is the leader of the pirate crew - Monkey D. Luffy - and his insurmountable drive, unfailing spirit and almost uncanny ability to say and do exactly what should be done even if it is by accident.

But we must not forget that throughout that hardship there are some really funny and great moments. But perhaps the best moments are the action of the series and the uniqueness of all of the characters. This AMV just showcases Luffy's badassness perfectly.

Bleach

I admit it. This series is far from the best I've seen. The colour scheme is really bland and uninteresting at times but that is because the feel of the anime requires it to be so. The fights are generic and the storyline is a little basic with just a few plot twists thrown in. Still I love the anime and here's why.

Naruto's history is mixed at best. At times it is just dull and boring and uninteresting. The original series did not interest me nearly as much as Shippuden does. Even then at times it is less than we come to expect. The animation in the fight scene with Pein (that's how I spell it) sometimes dropped down to the level of a flash player project which irritates me. But the fight itself was good enough on oh GOD so many levels for me to forgive it. Take a gander -

Nice. A Very Emotional AMV. Now I am sorry to say this but I think I can top it.

THis is perhaps one of my favorite AMVs. It uses little to no special effects and rides on the pure emotion of the visuals and the song. I can NOT watch this AMV without crying and I will also mention that I have not seen the anime... I do not want to. The AMV is so touching, so sad that it hurts to watch it. *breaks down into tears*

A fan made trailer for Dragon Age: Origins. It uses This is War by 30 Seconds to Mars, the official song for the game, however, when I first saw this video, I actually thought it had been made by Bioware to advertise the game, I was shocked to find out it was fan made, it's that good...in my opinion :p
